My Experience with AmazingTalker

As an online language tutor, I have been using the platform AmazingTalker for my teaching services, and I must say, it has been a good experience overall. In this article, I want to share my insights and thoughts on the platform, the benefits it offers, and the areas where I feel there is room for improvement.

One of the things that I am most grateful for is the opportunity to use a platform like AmazingTalker to connect with students from around the world. It has opened up new possibilities for me as a language tutor, allowing me to reach a wider audience and share my expertise with learners who are eager to improve their language skills. The platform provides a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for me to create my tutor profile, set my availability, and communicate with students.

Another aspect of AmazingTalker that I truly appreciate is how it handles taxes. As a language tutor, managing taxes can be complex and time-consuming. However, AmazingTalker simplifies this process by handling the tax calculation and reporting on my behalf. This saves me the hassle of having to calculate and pay taxes on my own, and ensures that I am in compliance with the tax regulations of my country. This convenience allows me to focus on what I do best, which is teaching, without having to worry about the administrative burden of taxes.

However, one area where I feel there is room for improvement is the ability to select the age group of students that I am willing to teach. As a language tutor, I have my own comfort level and preferred teaching style, and I believe that it is important to match with students who are within that range. Currently, AmazingTalker does not provide the option to select a specific age group, which can sometimes result in receiving inquiries from students outside of my comfort zone. While I can decline such requests, it would be beneficial to have the option to specify the age group I am comfortable teaching from the outset.

The website and app are quite often a bit buggy as well, showing wrong timezones for example. Some students were not able to book because the time slots were not aligning with their preferred availability. When in real, it was just the system showing wrong time slots.

In conclusion, my experience with AmazingTalker has been positive overall so far.
