Hello World (Life as German Expat In Korea)

My name is Mareike and I'm so excited to be starting this blog. A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Germany, but in the summer of 2021, my husband and I made the move to South Korea. My husband was born and raised in South Korea, so he was already familiar with the language and culture. However, as a German, everything was new to me.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the vibrant cities of South Korea, trying new restaurants and cafes, and spending time with my husband and our cute Chihuahua. I also love to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit several countries in Asia since moving here.

I'm passionate about web development and am constantly learning and improving my skills. On Mareblog, I'm excited to share my experiences as a German expat in South Korea and to connect with other like-minded individuals.
